The 2026 tournament runs August 23 through September 13, 2026. Fan Week and qualifying open the schedule, and main–draw singles play begins Sunday, August 30. Night Sessions
A late finish and a long way home
- Getting into Queens in the evening means crossing at the busiest hour of the day. Departure times are set accordingly.
- Dinner before or after the session is common, and easier as a scheduled stop than as an improvised one.
- Night matches can finish very late. A confirmed reservation is worth more at midnight in Flushing than at any other point in the day.
- Corporate entertainment is usually a night session. Return trips to New Jersey or a Manhattan hotel are pre–arranged for each guest.
